Spring, Texas is a census-designated area in northern Harris County. This community constitutes part of the larger Houston–The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area.
Generally, the name “Spring” is applied to a large area of northern Harris County and a smaller area of Southern Montgomery County. The original community of Springs, now named Old Town Spring is located just 24 miles north of downtown Houston at the intersection of Hardy and Spring-Cypress roads.
Spring, with a population of 58,756 people is one of the best areas to live in Texas. It offers its residents a rural feel. Also, Old Town Spring has many great neighborhoods and provides an easy commute to the Houston metropolitan area.
